For the month of September, ANY PERSON who reads this is Challenged to quote a new scripture to Chad Taylor at church that you've learned in the past week to see who has looked at the website and been spending time with God!  Let's see who has spent the most time with God in the month of September! :)

13th:  Boiling Springs Neighborhood Rummage Sale!!  Come early and leave full!!  BSC is also serving lunch and having a bake sale!!  @ 8am to 3pm

16th:  New Life Pregnancy Center's Annual Banquet For Life @ Decatur Conference Center with Keynote Speaker & Performer - Michele Pillar Starts @ 6:30pm!!

20th: BSC Second Annual Church Auction @ 10am

REMEMBER!!  Calendar Information Needed for 2009 Birthday & Anniversary Calendars!!

A man was being tailgated by a stressed out woman on a busy boulevard.  Suddenly, the light turned yellow, just in front of him.  He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.  The tailgating woman was furious and honked her horn, screaming in frustration, as she missed her chance to get through the intersection, dropping her cell phone and makeup.

As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer.  The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up.  He took her to the police station where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed, and placed in a holding cell.  After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door.  She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal affects.

He said, "I'm very sorry for this mistake.  You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him.'  I noticed the 'What Would Jesus Do' bumper sticker, the 'Choose Life' license plate holder, the 'Follow Me to Sunday-School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk; naturally....I assumed you had stolen the car.'"

Dear B.S.C. Family,

  Ring, Ring, Ring, do I here the school bell ringing? Here we are in September, school has started and we are on our way to another great school year. We have acknowledged all of our students and teachers, had a special prayer time for them, and now it is time for them to get busy, and be about the work of teaching and learning. There is a verse of scripture that comes to mind with all of this.  2Timothy 2:15 "Study to shrew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." Let's continue to pray for our schools and all there
students that they may rightly divide!
